PolyGAS is a synthesizer based on granular synthesis which basically uses small bits of a sample to create a new sound. And the great thing about the PolyGAS is that you can load your own samples to synthesize them.
It has 32 oscillators and has 18 different envelopes with 40 nodes per envelope, all available as an easy to use graphical interface which makes it simple to edit them.
It comes with 26 presets, but there are already several banks created by others, which you can download. At the end of the video I will explain how to download and import these banks into the PolyGAS Synthesizer.
If you want to have more sounds, you have to go to the Stone Voice website and download the zip files of the different sound banks.
After downloading, unzip them into the BANKS folder of the PolyGAS VST, you can find this in the Vstplugins folder of your computer.
You are now ready to open the bank in PolyGAS and start using these sounds.
